This is Firefly Glass, It’s designed by NOGU Studio in Toronto. Nope, there are no electronics involved. The bracelets are made of genuine lampwork hand-blown glass and once energized under a light source emit a spectacular glow. They are the grown up luxury version of your favorite glowing baubles as a kid.
During the blowing of the glass, small phosphorescent particles are suspended inside the glass and when charged explode with a brilliant sapphire glow.

1) Supercharge your Firefly Glass in seconds with our NOGU Ultraviolet Light for a lightning fast glow that emits more phosphorescence and lasts longer thanany other charging method.
2) Charge under a bright lamp for up to 5 minutes. The stronger the light source, the brighter the phosphorescent glow!
3) Charge in the sun near a window. Place the bracelet in a bright sunbeam and let the bracelet charge up to 10 minutes. This bracelet is pretty! The firefly glass is super cool and glows just right, not too flashy. I got it to wear to a Halloween party, and it totally completed my outfit. My only tiny complaint is that it feels a *little* looser than I expected. But overall, it's beautiful, and the silver is really nice quality. Delivery was quick, and the packaging was cute. Solid purchase!

Okay, so I'm usually not a bracelet person, but this Black Orchid Firefly Glass Blossom Bracelet? Obsessed! It's got this 'I'm sophisticated but also kinda mysterious' vibe that I'm totally here for. Wearing it makes me feel like I could be starring in a gothic romance novel, lol. Got tons of compliments the first time I wore it out. The stretchy fit is comfy too.
